as I always viewed and understood it, chemtrails are light or dark gray, depending upon the heavy metals being sprayed - then they turn into low level grey clouds, with the natural white clouds far above.

cloud seeding takes place inside the clouds and is used to bring about rain, so they do not leave trails, and if they did, I suspect they would be white or clear.

contrails are dark or faint white condensation trails that dissipate into the atmosphere within moments behind the plane.

the trails that I have been seeing in South Florida since the lockdowns have been pure white and waaaaaay up high in the atmosphere- then themselves form into pure white clouds.
